 Anjali Singh, a mother, a daughter, a wife and an entrepreneur

An Ex-martian with an MBA degree in Finance and HR, were my educational qualifications added to them are now my certificates from Parsons School Of Design, New York Fashion Design Certificate, Fashion Industry essentials Certificate and Fashion Business essentials certificate, some completed some about to be completed. A creative person at heart, pulled towards started with Fashion Industry from the very beginning of my career by entering the market of Lucknowi Chikankari and other hand-embroideries. Authenticity and Exclusivity  were being my motto, I was able to create a Niche Loyal client base added to Bollywood stars over the time period of ten years. Due to personal reasons and demand of time, I had to let go of my dream and join my husband's construction business as  director Finance and HR. Devoted my 8 years to it and will continue doing so but with my daughter doing Aerospace Engineering from a reputed college in USA and son still in grade 8th, but self sufficient my desire to re-launch myself in Fashion Industry was very high. With support from my family I decided to go big and launch my own brand AKSSTAGGA .

 At a larger scale, with deeper values and broader market plunged into a bigger market with support of my brother-in-law Mr. G Raheja, an established Fashion Designer and on his recommendation decided to attain higher and latest knowledge in this industry. This is when I came to know about PARSON’s School of Design for continuing education, USA. A new chapter in my life began, with the restrictions in travel that turned into a silver lining for me and made me pursue Fashion Design certificate and other Fashion Industry related certificates from Parson’s School of design .The  gave me a different identity all together, which I believe will give me a better direction to follow and achieve my dreams. I am re-entering the market of fashion after a period of 10 years, I have apprehensions and excitement both. But one thing runs in my blood that is a risk-taking aptitude, "I may win some I may lose some but I have to give it my all". Maybe that came from doing business for the past 20 years, I may not have worked in Fashion for all these past 10 years but I was part of Business Enterprise even then. So with a hope for a brighter future and with a promise to try to deliver what we are promising I am finally moving ahead to fulfil my DREAMS.
